in the western region of Southern Africa, between the 5th and 18th
parallels of South latitude, the territory of Angola includes a part of
the basin systems of the largest Western African river, Zaire or Congo
(4,000 km), and of the largest Eastern African river, Zambeze (2,680

Britain, and almost twelve times larger than that of Portugal. The
