Angola LocationLocated in the western region of Southern Africa, between the 5th and 18th parallels of South latitude, the territory of Angola includes a part of the basin systems of the largest Western African river, Zaire or Congo (4,000 km), and of the largest Eastern African river, Zambeze (2,680 km). Its territory is over twice the size of France and Great Britain, and almost twelve times larger than that of Portugal. The country borders the Democratic Republic of Congo in the North and Northeast, Zambia in the East, and Namibia in the South, and bathed by the Atlantic Ocean in the West.
