Economy

Angola is a country in peace with several business opportunities. It has abundant natural resources, namely, oil, natural gas, copper, phosphate, diamonds, zinc, aluminum, gold, iron ore, silicon, uranium, feldspar, etc.,  and flora and fauna quite rich in timber and marine resources.

During the last five years the Angolan economy registered a fast growth in the average of 18% per year, being considered as one of the most dynamic economies in the world.

This fact is essentially a result of the increase in oil production that doubled from 875 million barrels per day in 2003 to 1,9 million barrels per day in 2008 and of the average annual growth of the non-oil sector in the region of 19%

On the other hand, the economic policies adopted by the Angolan Government, that envisage to eliminate the restrictions to the offer of goods and services, concession of fiscal incentives for productive investment and the new law for the private investment produced good results, being the reason for the Republic of Angola being on the top on the fast growing countries in Africa and with the best conditions for investments.
