ANGOLA ASSUMES EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF INTERPOL AFRICA

Mr. Destino Pedro Nsevilu is the new delegate for Africa of the INTERPOL Executive Committee, after being elected on Wednesday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a three years term.

Elected with 99.3% of the votes, Destino Pedro Nsevilu is the Deputy Commissioner for Criminal Investigation and Director of the INTERPOL National Office in Angola, according to a press release from the Angolan National Police.

Angola chaired for the first time the INTERPOL Executive Committee for Africa in the period 2008 and 2009. The former delegate was Commissioner Eduardo Cerqueira.
