Appointed on June 7, 2011, I presented my Letter of Credence to His Majesty Akihito, Emperor of Japan on December 15, 2011. It is a great honor to represent the Republic of Angola as its Ambassador in this wonderful country.

Angola is the second largest oil producer in Africa and its subsoil is rich in various mineral resources. Japan, on the other hand, has technology and advanced know-how. Therefore, the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries are limitless.

I hope you find this website useful and informative. Visit us frequently to see up-to-date news on Angola and on events organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Japan.
