ANGOLANS DISTINGUISHED IN MANGA FESTIVAL

The artist Bomcomix and the screenwriter Hermenegildo Pimentel were awarded, on Thursday, in Luanda, with the bronze medal of the 13th Japan International Manga Award, for the creation “Dikixi-The Reconciliation – Part I”.

The Japan International Manga Award, founded in 2007, with the aim of spreading Japanese culture abroad and promoting international exchange, counted on this anod with the participation and 345 competitors, from 66 countries and regions.

During the award ceremony, the Japanese ambassador to Angola, Maruhashi Jiro, congratulated the achievement of Angolan artists and said that the Embassy of Japan in Angola will continue to further strengthen relations between the two countries, through international exchange.
