PRESIDENT MEETS JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER

At the end of this Monday afternoon, the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, held a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, as part of the official visit that began today to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Bilateral relations, initiated with the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1976, were the center of conversation between President João Lourenço and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Speaking to the press, in the interval between the meeting of the two delegations and the dinner offered by the Japanese Prime Minister to the illustrious visitor, João Lourenço and Fumio Kishida reaffirmed the willingness to cooperate that animates the two countries in a wide range of areas.
