The Angolan Diplomatic Mission, as part of its cultural diplomacy, organised a small stand where it displayed works of art (pieces and utensils), as well as promoting the distribution of advertising material reflecting Angola’s tourism potential, also highlighting the cultural diversity and tourist and cultural attractions of our country. To demonstrate its gastronomic impact, a tasting of some of our country’s delicacies was promoted.

Painted in the national colours and decorated with images and videos that promoted the concept “Angola as a country of the future and open to tourism”, the Angola Stand also served as a test for some brands of drinks produced in our country, such as Cuca Beer, spirits such as Angola sugarcane spirit, Gin and Liqueurs. It also took the opportunity to promote Angolan Coffee, considered by many to be one of the best in the world.

With constant queues of Japanese visitors curious to learn more about our country’s society and cultural diversity, the Angola Stand was considered one of the top 10 most visited stands at the entire Fair, allowing the public to explore its tourist diversity, through audiovisual images and advertising, which allowed interaction and exchange of contacts with potential tourists and interested public.

It should be remembered that the Japan International Tourism Fair is an event organized annually and brings together the world’s main tourism operators.
