Luanda, February 12, 2026 – The President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, sent a message of congratulations to Sanae Takaichi on her recent re-election as Prime Minister of Japan. The text of the letter reads as follows:

The victory achieved at the polls by Your Excellency reflects the renewed confidence of the Japanese people in your leadership to, as Prime Minister of your country, continue implementing policies with an impact on the process of consolidating Japan as a global industrial, technological, and economic power.
