Students at Iinaka Elementary School, located in Saitama Prefecture, deepened their knowledge of Angola during a visit organized by the Angolan Embassy in Japan.
Ms. Lourdes Laureano, Third Secretary at the Embassy, shared information with the children about Angola across a wide range of topics, sparking great interest among the students in learning more about the country’s reality, culture, and potential.
The school administration made a point of demonstrating, through its customary hospitality and spirit of respect—hallmarks of Japanese culture—the high levels of organization and learning fostered in the school’s daily routine.
For the past three years, the Angolan Embassy in Japan has been conducting exchange and interaction activities with this educational institution, which serves Japanese children and the children of immigrants, promoting mutual understanding and strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
