According to Kayaya Júnior, one of those responsible for the pavilion, the Angolan space at Expo Dubai received 1,800 people on the first day, including a visit by a Botswana delegation led by the Minister of Trade and Investment, MmusiKgafela, while on Saturday 860 people passed by by the national stand.

Among the first people to visit the Angolan pavilion at Expo Dubai, there is an Angolan couple who are in the United Arab Emirates on vacation. It’s about Gabriel and Jurelma.

Designed by architect Paula do Nascimento, the Angola pavilion occupies an area of 2,300m² and has a Sona shape (area drawings), typical of the Lunda Chokwe people. The space seeks to highlight a contemporary Angolan, exhibiting works by various Angolan artists, especially Paulo Kussy, Daniela Ribeiro, Finesa Teta, Cristiano Mangovo and Guizef Zeferino.

A message from the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to Angola’s contemporary dance and projections of the country’s future, on a 3D panel, as well as to Education, training and evolution, sustainable development and technology, are also highlighted in the pavilion.
