On May 31 of this year, H.E. Mrs. Teodolinda Rosa Rodrigues Coelho, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to Japan, visited the “One Vilage, one product market” store located at Narita International Airport.
The One Vilage store is an initiative of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and aims to promote and support producers from different African and Asian countries, with more than 300 works of art and food products.
The products displayed in the store are mostly works of art and small utensils, as well as small foodstuffs that are highly prized by travelers who come to the store from various regions of the world, who visit Japan on tourism or in transit and take the opportunity to buy souvenirs and gifts for their families.
The Angolan ambassador sees this as an opportunity for Angolan products, which will also be able to take advantage of the same space to make themselves known on the Japanese market, especially for local Angolan artisans and producers.
In his presentation, Mr. Takashi Tsunemi, Deputy Director-General of JETRO’s Overseas Business Support Center, thanked the Ambassador for her visit and expressed his desire to see Angolan products on display.
