The Angolan Embassy in Japan took advantage of its participation in Tourism Expo Japan to showcase the country’s potential in a wide range of areas, with a focus on culture and tourism.
Organized by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association (JATA), Tourism Expo Japan took place in the Japanese capital from September 24 to 27, with the event’s final day coinciding with World Tourism Day.
At its booth, the Angolan Embassy introduced visitors to the country’s tourism potential and offerings, as well as various culturally significant products and items, including handicrafts and a range of “Made in Angola” products.
Among the products on display, rare minerals stood out, sparking great curiosity among visitors, as did the coffee, which was highly appreciated by those who had the opportunity to taste it.
The booth also featured a book published in Japanese and English, as well as an institutional video produced by the Embassy, both designed to promote the country’s tourism potential.
For Angola’s Ambassador to Japan, Teodolinda Rosa Rodrigues Coelho, participating in the event served to promote tourism and encourage citizens from different continents to visit the country.
Angola’s presence at the event thus reinforces the diplomatic mission’s commitment to promoting the country’s image, highlighting its cultural and tourism heritage, and raising awareness among the Japanese and international markets.
